HONORING DEDICATION: CIVIL SERVANTS RECOGNIZED AT THE 73RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS

Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, presented commemorative souvenirs to dedicated civil servants at a ceremony on November 13 at the Regimental Centre. This meaningful gesture honored the invaluable contributions of civilian staff, whose behind-the-scenes support is essential to the Corps' ongoing success and daily operations. The event, part of the 73rd Anniversary celebrations of the Corps, highlighted the organization’s appreciation for the commitment and hard work of these staff members.

The specially designed souvenirs, including an umbrella and a mug, were tokens of gratitude reflecting the spirit of unity and mutual respect within the Corps. The Colonel Commandant’s recognition of civilian contributions reinforced the shared dedication and respect across all ranks, acknowledging every member’s role in the Corps’ mission.
