FOUNDATION STONE LAID FOR NEW HOUSE OF A CIVIL SERVANT BY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH SLE

A foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of a new house for Mr. Amila Sampath, a dedicated civil servant with over 15 years of service, was held on 02 June 2025 in Habaraduwa, Galle. The event was marked by a simple yet meaningful ceremony.

This noble initiative is being carried out under the guidance of the President, Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Mrs. Surangi Amarapala. The construction and administrative support are being provided by troops of the 4(V) Engineer Regiment SLE, under the instructions and close supervision of the Commanding Officer.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Deputy Centre Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, along with several officers, other ranks, and members of the beneficiary’s family and relatives.
