14 CBRNE REGIMENT CONDUCTS BOMB AND CBRN THREAT AWARENESS WORKSHOP FOR SECURITY STAFF OF THE RESIDENCES AT ONE GALLE FACE

To enhance the national security landscape and make public awareness on bomb and CBRN threats the workshop was conducted by 14 CBRNE response regiment on 29 July 2025. This important initiative was organized in response to a directive by the Ministry of Defence, under the leadership of the Commander of the Army, and the supervision of the Chief Field Engineer and the Engineer Division Headquarters. The workshop was specifically tailored for the residential security staff, recognizing their critical role as a security person.

The session covered a wide spectrum of topics, with special emphasis on recognizing suspicious activity and behavior of personal and the appropriate response protocols in the event of a CBRNE related incident. The training was designed not only to enhance individual capabilities but also to promote a culture of vigilance, cooperation, and preparedness among private security personnel responsible for safeguarding critical urban establishments. The successful execution of the workshop not only enhanced the capabilities of security staff but also reinforced the importance of collective security in safeguarding the nation.
