Major General Hemantha Bandara, Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and the General Officer Commanding 12 Division made his first official visits to 4th Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (4 SLSR) in Nelliady, 6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Parantan and 9th Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Puthukudiyiruppu on 05 January 2021.

Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) on Saturday 05th September 2020 in a fitting goodbye ceremony at the Regimental Centre in Ambepussa farewell one of its exemplary Senior Officers, Major General Jayantha Seneviratne, Colonel of the Regiment, SLSR and Commander Security Force (West) retired from the Army after a distinguished career of more than 35 years of service.
