Closing Ceremony of "Military Law & Civil Law Refresher Course" was held on 09th April 2018 at the Cpls' Club - RHQ SLCMP. 05 x Officers and 53 x Non Commissioned Officers successfully completed the course. Colonel Commandant and Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier D K G D Sirisena USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The course was concluded with a Tea Party.

Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Inter Unit Rugby tournament was held at Kure Park - Wellawatta on 06 April 2018. Brigadier DKGD Sirisena USP, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police graced the prize-giving ceremony as the Chief Guest. 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and 7th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police were selected for the finals, in which the Rugby players of the 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Unit secured the championship. Officers and ORs too joined the presentation of trophies and certificates to the winners.

The change-over of the Ceremonial Guard at the President’s House took place this morning during a brief ceremony in front of the President’s House at Colombo-Fort. During the formal ceremony, SLCMP took over their ceremonial duties from the Sri Lanka Air Force for a period of six months, beginning from 01 April 2018 to 01 October 2018. After signing formal documents to that effect, both Military Police and Air Force troops exchanged greetings.

The opening address of Refresher Course for "Military Low and Civil Low" was held on 26 March 2018 at the Cpls' Club of Regimental Centre. Colonel Commandant and Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier DKGD Sirisena USP graced the event as the Chief Guest. The course will be conducted as the 1st stage of a course series under the supervision of Dte of Provost Marshal.

Retirement party of provost batch No 41, 42 and 43 was held at Regimental Headquarters on 23 March 2018. Colonel Commandant of the Regiment & the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier D K G D Sirisena USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event. Centre Comdt and many Snr Officers of the Regiment and members of the Provost Batch no 41, 42 and 43 participated for the occasion with their families. Members of the Provost Batches were appreciated by the Colonel Commandant for the service rendered by them. Members and their families were presented with tokens of appreciation.

Malaysian Cricket Association has invited the Sri Lanka Army Cricket Team to play few matches against Malaysian National Cricket team from 27 March 2018 to 04 April 2018. Following Officer and NCO of this Regiment will participate the Cricket Tournament. The Colonel Commandant, Brig D K G D Sirisena USP donated a sum of Rs 162,000.00 on 20 March 2018.

All Island beach kabaddi tournament - 2018 Runners up Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Kabaddi team ("A" Division Matches)
Kabaddi Tournament completed by teams continued two days at the Thangalla Beaches. Furthermore, this event coordinated by the Hambanthota District Kabaddi Association. After that Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Kabaddi Team met Colonel Commandant, Brig DKGD Sirisena USP and Centre Commandant, Col ASP Podiralahamie USP.
