Inter Regiment Karate Tournament was held in Indoor Stadium at Panagoda from 27 December 2018 to 29 December 2018. In that the team which represented out Regiment won the third place in the tournament. Other than that the team was able to achieve the second place in Brown Belt category.

Book donation programme was held for the 5th time on 05th December 2018 at the Regimental Headquarters, Colombo 05. Total no. of 22558 books, worth approximately 1.8 million rupees were donated to 1683 school children of Officers, Other Rankers and civilians who serve in SLCMP, for the academic year 2019.

Retirement party of Provost Batch No 44 was held at Regimental Headquarters on 19 October 2018. Colonel Commandant of the Regiment & the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier D K G D Sirisena USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event. Centre Comdt and many Senior Officers of the Regiment and members of the Provost Batch no 44 participated for the occasion with their families. Members of the Provost Batch was appreciated by the Colonel Commandant for the service rendered by them. Members and their families were presented with tokens of appreciation.
