  • OPENING CEREMONY OF UNIT ACCOUNT COURSE

    The opening address of "Unit Account Course" was held on 23 April 2018 at the Cpls' Club of Regimental Centre of SLCMP. Provost Marshal and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Brigadier DKGD Sirisena USP graced the event as the Chief Guest. The course will be conducting as the 4th stage under the supervision of Dte of Provost Marshal.

    Officers cottage declared open by Brig DKGD Sirisena USP the Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army with the invitation of Col ASP Podiralahamie USP the Centre Commandant of RHQ SLCMP on 20th April 2018.

  • PIRITH CHANTING CEREMONY AND ALMS GIVING AT HOME OF PROVOST

    Simultaneous to the 28th anniversary day celebrations of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, an all-night "Pirith Chanting Ceremony" was held on 19 April 2018 to commemorate provost war heroes who paid their supreme sacrifice to the motherland during the war in last three decades. Prior to the event, the newly constructed "Budu Madura" at Home of Provost was declared open by Brigadier DKGD Sirisena USP, Colonel Commandant of the Regiment and Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army. An alms giving was followed on the next day at the Officers' Mess for 28 members of Maha Sanga.

  • "ALUTH AURUDU" ALL RANKS TEA

    Officers and Soldiers of the Sri Lanka Corps of Mlitary Police welcomed the Sinhala and Hindu New year traditionally. All ranks Tea was jointly organized by the RHQ SLCMP, 1 SLCMP and SIU on 18 April 2018. Brigadier DKGD Sirisena USP, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army graced the event as the chief guest.

  • ASSUME DUTIES - GENERAL STAFF OFFICER I

    Lieutenant Colonel RMKAS Rajanayake, assumed the duties as the new General Staff Officer 1 at Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 17 April 2018.

  • THE COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE 3RD SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE ASSUMED DUTIES

    Lieutenant Colonel MMMP Mahesh Kumara assumed the duties as the 14 Commanding Officer of the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Galkulama on 05 April 2018. A Guard turnout was presented to the new Commanding Officer followed by a tree planting and a troops address.

  • Regimental Accounts Course – 2018 Stage II

    Under the supervision of the Brig DKGD Sirisena USP the Provost Marshal and Colonel Commandant – SLCMP “Regimental Accounts Course- Stage II”organized by the Directorate of Provost Marshal was commenced from 20th February 2018 to 22th March 2018.

  • MILITARY LAW & CIVIL LAW REFRESHER COURSE

    Closing Ceremony of "Military Law & Civil Law Refresher Course" was held on 09th April 2018 at the Cpls' Club - RHQ SLCMP. 05 x Officers and 53 x Non Commissioned Officers successfully completed the course. Colonel Commandant and Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier D K G D Sirisena USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The course was concluded with a Tea Party.

  • INTER UNIT RUGBY TOURNAMENT - 2018

    07th April 2018 12:15:23 Hours

    Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Inter Unit Rugby tournament was held at Kure Park - Wellawatta on 06 April 2018. Brigadier DKGD Sirisena USP, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police graced the prize-giving ceremony as the Chief Guest. 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and 7th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police were selected for the finals, in which the Rugby players of the 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Unit secured the championship. Officers and ORs too joined the presentation of trophies and certificates to the winners.
