The certificate awarding ceremony of the Basic Photography Course No 01 which was organized by the Regimental Centre of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) held on 17th December 2020 under the patronage of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.
Providing of photography and videography for the events of Sri Lanka Army is one of the duties performed by SLCMP. Hence, to cater for duty requirements this course was designed as 14 days residential course after selecting 2 SNCOs and 15 NCOs from the nomination of unit line.
This course has covered theoretical and practical aspects of both photography and videography and 17 Nos who have completed the programme successfully awarded with a certificate and S/679766 CPL Wanasinghe WMSB – 2 SLCMP won the first place and awarded as the best photographer. Centre Commandant few Officers and few Other Ranks of Regimental Headquarters participated for the event.
