The newly constructed Other Ranks (ORs) holiday bungalow "Thuru Arana" and Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) quarter of 3rd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) were declared open by the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) and Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Maj Gen LPR Premalal USP on the invitation of the Commanding Officer 3 SLCMP Lt Col Ajith Wijekoon. On arrival the Col Comdt was warmly welcomed by the CO to the occasion. Then OR bungalow and RSM quarter were officially opened in the auspicious time. Afterward troops were addressed by the Comd FMA (N/C) and Col Comdt – SLCMP by highlighting his vision on Military Police Duties, Investigations, Discipline and Administrations. The SO I of FMA (N/C) Lt Col MMMP Mahesh Kumara, the Commanding Officer 4 SLCMP Lt Col RRP Perera and the Commanding Officer 5 SLCMP Lt Col PDI Perera together with several Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks attended for the programme.
