The Annual General meeting of SLAGSC SVB was held on 08th January 2022 at the RHQ SLAGSC with the participation of many spouses of the SLAGSC Officers. The new office for the SVB was declared opened by the SVB president. Mrs. Eranga Hewawasam graced the occasion as the chief guest. The meeting commenced its proceedings with the lightings of traditional oil lamp & subsequently, 2 minutes silence was observed in remembrance of fallen war heroes.
The SLAGSC SVB together with the SLAGSC RHQ donated school equipment, stationeries and spectacles to children of SLAGSC families & Civil staff families worth of Rs. 1,900,000.00 in order to upgrade the education standards of the children.

The Four wings Juice Bar was declared open by Mrs Eranga Hewawasam, the President of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch upon the invitation of Maj K H D Mendis, the Commanding Officer of 2 (V) SLAGSC on 06 December 2021 at the HABARAKADA with the participation of the Seva Vanitha Branch members. The Col Comdt, Centre Comdt, Snr officers & officers were among the Participants.

A wheel chair donation programme was organized by the SLAGSC SVB with the guidance of Mrs Eranga Hewawasam to donate a wheel chair to Cpl Prasad H A's feeble and weak mother. On 29 October 2021 SLAGSC SVB ladies visited his residence at Kuliyapitiya to hand over the wheel chair.

The SLAGSC SVB organized a donation programme for 3 selected families who are unable to afford the required data facilities for study purpose under the patronage of the SLAGSC SVB President Mrs Eranga Hewawasam. The Handing over ceremony was held on 16 September 2021 at the RHQ SLAGSC Regimental lecture hall.
SLAGSC SVB organized a refreshment pack distribution programme together with SLACMP SVB on 10 September 2021 at Covid 19 Vaccination Centre Bodhirajaramaya , Panagoda under the directions of Mrs Eranga Hewawasam the President SVB SLAGSC.
SLAGSC Seva Vanitha branch hosted a donation programme on 27 November 2020 with the directions given by Maj Gen C K Handunmulla , the Col Comdt, SLAGSC and Mrs Deepa Handunmulla the President, Seva Vanitha Branch, SLAGSC. The donation programme was organized for 14 soldiers and 02 civil servants who are having children with special medical needs and Rs 25000.00 of money donation were given for each.
