AGM of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch was held with Pride.....

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) – 2022 of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch was held on 26 May 2023 at the SLAGSC Lecture Hall. The AGM was chaired by the President of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Ruvina Mettananda and was attended by its member spouses of Officers and ORs,Lady Officers together with Coordinators of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch..

The event commenced with lighting of the traditional oil lamp followed by singing of the SLA Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Coordinator Major YC Guruge.The Chairperson Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Ruvina Mettananda later addressed the gathering to share her valuable thoughts among the participants. The AGM was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary Seva Vanitha Branch,Mrs Nayomi De Silva beloved Wife of the Centre Commandant of SLAGSC, Col MKSS De Silva. Mrs Nilanthi De Zoysa was sworn in as the Vice Chairman.Mrs Rukmani Rathnayake was sworn in as the Vice Secretary while Mrs Mithila Samaraweera and Mrs Udayangani Samarasinghe were appointed as the public relations Officers.Thereafter, the Treasurer Seva Vanitha Branch SLAGSC,Major YC Guruge read the financial reports pertaining to the year 2022 upto now. In addition, a video footage consists the summary of the Community Service Responsibilities conducted by the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch during the year 2022 to 2023 was shown to make the audience apprised..

A valuable lecture was conducted by Capt Vishmika De silva to educate the gathering on life skills..

The event was later followed by a Dinner at the Officers' Mess.
