A HOUSING PROJECT FOR THE NEEDY FAMILY HAS BEEN CARRY OUT IN LINE WITH THE 75TH ARMY DAY CELEBRATION ON 10.10.2023 ACCORDINGLY A HOUSE WITH POOR CONDITION WAS CHOSEN FOR RENOVATION ON 15 FEBRUARY 2024.

With the guidance of the Colonel Commandant and the president of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, A suicide prevention lecture series were successfully conducted on 21st March 2024 for 500 serving soldiers at Army Cantonment Panagoda at RHQ SLAGSC Lecture hall. The event was organized by Seva Vanitha Branch of SLAGSC along with the Regimental Headquarters with the sponsorship of District 306 C1 Region 3 Lions Club. Centre Commandant , Senior Seva Vanitha Members , Lion Governor Mr.
President Dr. (Mrs) Himali Niyangoda grace the occasion as the Chief guest. Vice-president Mrs. Thushari Abeysinghe and senior Seva Vanitha members participated.
100 SLAGSC Lady soldier, Lady officers and members of Seva Vanitha also participated to the Beauty Culture programme conducted by the British Cosmetics Private Ltd on the same day and the drama and entertainment events added extra glamour. All participants were given with valuable gift packs. Seva vanitha branch collaborate with 1 SLAGSC made the event success.
As per the concept of the President of the SevaVanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Dr. HimaliNiyangoda, a books and stationery donation programme was successfully conducted with the support of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch and the Accounts Officers on 19.02.2024 at the lecture hall of RHQ SLAGSC.
The Seva Vanitha Branch of SLAGSC organized a programme in celebration of Children's Day at St. Michael Vidyalaya on 06 th October 2023. Under the guidance of Dr. Nimali Niyangoda, the President of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch, along with other officers from the SLGAC unit and in collaboration with the Centennial Lions Club Colombo and other sponsors, this event was successfully executed. The programme featured the following activities:
1. Distribution of stationery items to school children.
2. Provision of educational aids to the school.
The SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch bid farewell its outgoing former present, Mrs. Himali Pussella at the SLAGSC Office's Mess on 27 September 2023. The chief guest received a warm welcome from Dr. Himali Niyangoda, the current president of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha branch, and the other members of the organization.
The farewell event comprised several sessions, while the formal event was culminating with a customary dinner hosted for Mrs. Himali Pussella by the president and other members of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch
Mrs. Himali niyangoda, the new President of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch assumed office at the Seva Vanitha office at the Regimental Headquarters on Monday (21) morning during a brief ceremony that preceded religious observances

The Sri Lanka Army General service Corps located at panagoda inaugurated its new yoghurt production aiming to raise funds to their Seva Vanitha Branch. Project is manned under the supervision of the Army Seva Vanitha unit on Tuesday August 15 at the presence of Mrs. Himali Pussella. Major General DMKDB Pussella, Rwp Rsp, Commander of the Security Force Headquarters (West) and the Colonel Commander of the SLAGSC participated as the chief guest at this occasion.He unveil the plaque and cut the ribbon before new production facility commenced.
Mrs. Himali Pussella, the chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha unit, recently made a visit to the Ranaviru Sevana in Ragama on 07 August 2023, with the objective of raising the mental stability and wellness of permanently injured War Heroes under recuperation and rehabilitation.
