In the event organized by the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch on 02 October 2022 coincide with World Children’s Day, distributed 100 packs including school items and DSI shoe pairs to children of military and civil personnel serving in the Regiment. This event was held at the lecture hall of the Regimental Centre SLAGSC, Panagoda... Mrs Ruvina Mettananda the president ,SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch graced the occasion as the Chief Guest together with the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment Maj Gen MWTC Mettananda USP ndc. The Centre commandant Colonel PR Samaraweera, Officers and other ranks of Regimental Centre SLAGSC participated in the event.
The programme commenced with the prize distribution and later, Doctor Chaminda Weerasiriwardena conducted a 3 Hrs psychological lecture for the participated children and their parents about the bond between children and parents. Finally, a Special lunch was arranged for all participants before the event session being wind up.
