The SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch President Mrs Ruvina Mettananda, Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC Maj Gen M W T C Mettananda USP ndc, Centre Commandant Colonel P R Samaraweera together with many Seva Vanitha Members, Lady Officers and several Senior Officers visited the injured War Heroes and inquired about their wellbeing.
The event was started with the ward Visit by officials who graced the occasion, and presented gifts for each and every one of them. Rest of the programme was commenced with tea and followed up with an entertainment session.
During the interaction with the War Heroes, the SVB Presedent Mrs Ruvina Mettananda presented them with gift packs containing essential items for their personal use. Uniqness of the event was further enhanced with the donation of a band equipment which has been a much sorted requirement after raising the musical group in Abimansala III named "Brave Beats”.
