Welfare Shop
Welfare Shop of Security Force Headquarters wanni has located at Munnimuruppu area beside the A9 Road. The shop is comprised with essential Foods, Grocery, Clothing, Stationary and sanitary items which could be purchased on concessionary rates for Officers and Soldiers working in under Security Force Headquarters Wanni AOR and as well as Civilians living in the area. Welfare shop has provided facilities to consumers as other super markets available in Vavuniya township.
Housing Project
Security Forces Headquarters has launched a housing project one behalf of low income families living in the Wanni area since March 2019. Financial assistance for the construction of these houses will be obtained in collaboration with local and foreign donors and completed houses will be presented to selected need families in the small handing over ceremony with the participation of sponsored person and commander Security Force Headquarters Wanni. these construction are being done by Army soldiers under the supervision and guidance of the Commander Security Forces Headquarters Wanni. At present total no of 20 houses had been handed over to the a beneficiaries in Wanni area each house is comprised with all essential facilities such as sitting area dining room, two bed room, wash room, kitchen essential house hold items like electric appliances and furniture also shifted to the owner when the house is handed over.
