OFFICIAL VISIT OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 54 INFANTRY DIVISION AND OPENING OF NEW GYMNASIUM AT 541 INFANTRY BRIGADE HEADQUARTERS

In conjunction with the official visit of the General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, Major General G S K Perera RSP ndc, a newly constructed gymnasium at the Headquarters of the 541 Infantry Brigade was ceremonially declared open on 09 April 2026.

The gymnasium was established under the guidance of the Commander 541 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier I P Jayasinghe RWP, with the valuable contribution of the Other Ranks serving at the Brigade Headquarters. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the General Officer Commanding, along with senior officers and troops of the Brigade.
