Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, a Diners Club Program was successfully held on 12 November 2025 at the 3D Lecture Hall of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) with the participation of Young Officers’ following the Unit Administration and Account Course and the staff officers of the SFHQ(Wanni). The Diners Club was conducted under the theme “How and Why We Should Become Military Professionals”. The Commander 543 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier N R L Gunasena ctf ndu psc conducted the discussion as the guest speaker. During his speech, Brigadier Gunasena shared his extensive knowledge and experiences on the importance of inculcating professionalism within the military. His thought-provoking presentation emphasized the fundamental values, discipline, and commitment to continuous learning that define a true military professional in the Sri Lanka Army.
The primary objective of this program was to enhance the professional knowledge of junior and middle-grade officers of the Sri Lanka Army while providing a platform for discussion, learning, and the exchange of ideas on modern military leadership and professionalism. Further, Brigadier K T R B Kodippili psc, the Brigadier General Staff (BGS) of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), along with several Senior Officers, Officers, and course participants of the Young Officers’ Unit Administration and Account Course, attended the event.
