Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) and the directions of the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division, and under the full supervision of the Commander 212 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier B A M P Balasuriya RSP, the renovation of existing sanitation systems and the construction of a new sanitation facility at Kagama Datusena Vidyalaya commenced on 09 July 2025.
This initiative, aligned with the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme, is being implemented under the themes of social, moral, and environmental development, aiming to improve the physical cleanliness and well-being of schoolchildren.
The construction was funded by a financial donation from Mr. Shanta Kumara, a member of the “Wanni Aids” Organization based in Canada, and is being carried out with the manpower support of troops from the 2 Corps 0f Engineer Services and 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armored Corps units.
