21 Infantry Division Organizes “Kos Dansala” to Mark Poson Poya Day

Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division, Major General W.W.M.P.W.W.B.R. Palamakumbura RWP RSP, the troops of the division organized a “Kos Dansala” (jackfruit almsgiving) on 10 June 2025 at the division premises to commemorate Poson Poya Day, a significant occasion in the Buddhist calendar. The event, which highlighted the values of generosity and spiritual devotion, drew the participation of approximately 3,000 devotees.
