THE COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES (WANNI) CALLED ON THE BISHOP OF MANNAR DIOCESE

Major General K M P S B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (Wanni), had a courtesy call on with Most Reverend Dr. Anthonypillai Ganapragasgam, the Bishop of the Diocese of Mannar, at the Bishop’s house in Mannar on 30 march 2025.

During the cordial audience with the dignitary, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) explained to him the specific roles being played by army troops in the district of Mannar with the intention of strengthening and promoting reconciliation, ethnic and religious harmony among the people. His Lordship the Bishop, praised the army for its exemplary service in Mannar of promoting ethnic harmony and reconciliatory moves with the intent to rebuild the reconciliation and National unity.
