CLOSING ADDRESS OF BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL AT GALKULAMA

In accordance with the Battalion Training Plan for the year 2025, the Battalion Training Course of 2 (V) Vijayabhahu Infantry Regiment, conducted at the Infantry Battalion Training School at Galkulama from 06th January 2025 to 03rd March 2025 was successfully completed by 10 Officers and 398 other ranks.

The closing address was delivered by the General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division, Major General W W M P W W B R Palamakumbura RWP RSP grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and visited to the battalion training school premises also. The following officers and other ranks received certificates and trophies, 2/Lieutenant D U Ketakumbura as the best student of the Battalion Training Course, S/103257 Inf Kumara P Y S as the best physical fitness student, S/16H00580 L/C Bandara R D N T as the Best shooter and S/2H02742 Corporal Wijesinghe W S as the best section commander.
