NEW COMMANDER OF 543 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMED DUTIES

Colonel H S W K Galhenage RWP RSP USP psc assumed duties as the 13th Commander of the 543 Infantry Brigade amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Brigade Headquarters 543 Infantry Brigade Pesalai, Mannar on 13 February 2025.

The newly appointed Brigade Commander was warmly welcomed by Staff Officers and accorded a guard turnout by the troops of 4 Vijyabahu Infantry Regiment. In his office, the Brigade Commander symbolically signed an official document to mark the assumption of his duties. He then posed for a group photograph during his address he shared his vision for the Brigade’s future.
