NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER 212 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier B A M P Balasuriya RSP assumed duties as the 10th Commander of the 212 Infantry Brigade in Ranasewapura, Anuradapura on 4th December 2024, amidst religious blessings and military formalities.

The incoming Commander was warmly welcomed by Senior Officers followed by a Guard Turnout. Subsequently at his office, a brief religious ceremony was conducted to invoke blessings for his new appointment and Brigadier B A M P Balasuriya RSP, signed an official document to mark his assumption of duties.

The event concluded with his formal address to the Officers and Other Ranks. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civil servants participated in the event and extended their congratulatory remarks on his new appointment.
