GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 56 INFANTRY DIVISION VISITS 562 INFANTRY BRIGADE AND UNDER COMMAND BATTALIONS

Brigadier M P N A Muthumala USP psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, conducted a formal visit to the 562 Infantry Brigade, 17 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry and the 12 Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment on 29 October 2024.

Upon arrival, General Officer Commanding was accorded with Guard Turnout and he was warm welcomed by the Colonel T W G D M Amarasinghe RSP RWP, Commander 562 Infantry Brigade accompanied by Commanding Officers, Officers, and all troops present at the Brigade and under command battalions.

During his visit, General Officer Commandingaddressing the troops appreciated their commitment and dedication for the duties as well as encourage them and discuss the operational goals moral building themes.Concluding the visit General Officer Commanding left complimentary remarks in the visitors' books. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were participated in the visit.
