Beach clean up programme conducted in line with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army was held on 07 October 2024, under the guidance and instructions of Major General D R N Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP, General Officer Commanding 59 Infantry Division and Supervision of Brigadier M J Ubeysekera RSP psc, the Commander 591 Infantry Brigade.
08 officers and 50 Soldiers were joined to clean the Mullativu beach, 1500m of coastline was cleaned. 02 x 20 troops from 12 SLLI, 01 x 20 troops from 10 SLSR and 05x 10 troops from 591 Infantry Brigade participated to This programme.
