56 INFANTRY DIVISION CONTINUES VISION IMPROVEMENTS FOR GENERAL PUBLIC IN VAVUNIYA

A programme to provide spectacles to general publicin Panrikethakulam was conducted in collaboration with Assists Resettlement and Renaissanceand Alaka foundation by 56 Infantry Division troops.The program was conducted on direction by General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division - Major General S Kasthurimudali RSP ndc psc, under the guidance of Brigade Commander 563 Infantry Brigade - Brigadier YMSCB Jayathilake RSP USP, and the organizational strength of 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and the generous contribution of Dr. Velayudham Sarveswaran, Secretary of the Assists Resettlement and Renaissance, with the aim of elevatating life standards of the people. During the programme, 131 selected visually impaired people in area were benefited.
