TROOPS OF 11 SLA CONSTRUCTS A NEW HOUSE FOR A NEEDY FAMILY

In line with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, Troops of the 11 SLA completed the construction of a house by labor contribution for a needy Family in Kaddukarankudirippu , Selwari on 12 October 2024.

The project was completed under the directions of Major General J P C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, the Commander of the Security Forces (Wanni), and the guidance of Major General R P A R P Rajapaksha RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division. Brigadier B Y Nanayakkara RSP psc, Commander 543 Infantry Brigade supervised the project.

Lt Col B M R Ferdinandarson psc IG Commanding Officer of the 11 SLA, along with all Ranks of the Battalion dedicated their efforts to construct the home. Their hard work and dedication were formally recognized during the inauguration ceremony, which was graced by the Commander of the Security Forces (Wanni).
