563 INFANTRY BRIGADE MARKED 27TH ANNIVERSARY

The 563 Infantry Brigade proudly marked its 27th anniversary on 04 October 2024. To celebrate the anniversary, Brigade troops organized bless the Brigade flag and Dairy food offering at Sri Maha Bodhi Annuradhapura, Distributing School items for Children of Alagalla Pottukulam Virama Muniwar School at Omanthai, 'Pirith' chanting was held to invoke blessings on all ranks of on-service, soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war, and soldiers receiving treatment.

In accordance with military traditions Commander 563 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Y M S C B Jayathilake RSP USP was honored with a Guard turnout and planting of Saplings. Later Commander 563 Infantry Brigade addressed the Brigade troops by aware of the Brigade's history and how to way forward.Officers and Other Ranks of the 563 Infantry Brigade participated in these celebratory events.
