593 BRIGADE COMMANDER ASSUMING DUTIES

Colonel U S B Ratnayake RWP RSP psc, assumed duties as the 17th Commander of the 593 Infantry Brigade, amidst religious blessing and military formalities at the 593 Infantry Brigade, Kombavil, Puthukuduyirippu on 26 September 2024.

The newly appointed Commander of 593 Infantry Brigade was saluted him in a Guard Turnout presented by troops of 6 GW. To officially mark his assumption of duties, the Commander of 593 Infantry Brigade signed an official document amidst religious observances.

In keeping with tradition, the newly appointed Brigade Commander planted a sapling in the camp premises. He then posed for a group photograph with Officers and Other Ranks.

After the formalities, the Commander of 593 Infantry Brigade addressed the troops and shared refreshments with all ranks.
