GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 59 INFANTRY DIVISION VISITS 591 INFANTRY BRIGADE AND UNDER COMMAND BATTALIONS

Major General DRN Hettiarachchi RWP RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 59 Infantry Division made his maiden official visit to 591 Infantry Brigade and its under command battalions of 12 Sri Lanka Light InfantryRegiment and 10 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 25 September 2024.

General Officer Commanding of 59 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed by the Commander 591 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier M J Ubeysekara RSP psc. The formal procedures commenced with a comprehensive briefing by the commander 591 Infantry Brigade before he visits the under command battalions and Kurindimalai Archaeological site.

Finally, the Commander 59 Infantry Division penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book completing the day’s proceedings. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were participated in the event.
