A NEW HOME FOR A LOW-INCOME FAMILY IN KATKULAM BY THE 11 BATTALION THE GEMUNU WATCH

In conjunction with the 75th anniversary of Sri Lanka Army, under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, and the supervision of Commander 563 Infantry Brigade Brigadier YMSCB Jayathilaka RSP USP, with the leadership and assistance of Commanding Officer 11 Battalion the Gemunu Watch Lieutenant Colonel NKHR Nanayakkara RWP Lsc and his troops successfully completed the construction of new house for a deserving family in Katkulam, Vavuniya.

The programme of newly constructed house warming ceremony was solemnized with the participation of the General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General S. Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc on 16.09.2024. Financial assistance for the construction of the house was provided by International Needs Lanka Institute.
