56 INFANTRY DIVISION TROOPS EASED OFF THE URGENT BLOOD REQUIREMENT OF BLOOD BANK GENERAL HOSPITAL VAVUNIYA

Celebrating of the 75th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army and extending the human and generosity, troops of 56 Infantry Division organized a blood donating campaign with participation of under command brigades and battalions at 56 Infantry Division Headquarters on 03 Sep 2024.This endeavour fulfilled the urgent need of blood by 07 Officers and 134 Other Ranks during the program.

Program was launched under the direction of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division, Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc coordination with Vavuniya General Hospital Blood Bank.

The General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Deputy General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division, Senior Officers of 56 Infantry Division and under command brigades and battalions, Officers and Other Ranks participated for the event.
