In line with the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army,a newly constructed house was handed over to a deserving family in Perimiyankulama, Kolongaswewa on 16th August on 2024.The occasion was graced by Major General J P C peiris RWP RSP ndc, the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) as the esteemed Chief Guest. Major General W M S C K Wanasinghe RSP USP General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Brigadier RMC Ratnayake RWP RSP USP Commander 212 Infantry Brigade, Mrs Indira Nilmini Sugathapala, also honored the event with their presence as special guests.The Construction of the house was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the troops from the 4th Sri Lanka National Guard Battalion and the 9th Engineer Services Regiment. The project received financial support from Dr. Shanika Wijay Gunasekara and her daughter Dilhara Perera.
