On instructions of the Security Force Commander (Wanni) Major General JPC Peiris RWP RSP ndc, troops of 56 Infantry Division, organized a cinnamon cultivation at Parasankulam on 04 August 2024 with the aim of upgrading economy, introducing and spreading the cultivation north of Vavuniya region.
Commander Security Force (Wanni) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed 6392 cinnamon saplings among 34 villagers.
Commander Security Force (Wanni), General Officer Commanding, Deputy General Officer Commanding, Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers and Officers participated for the event.
