COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) , VISITS HEADQUARTERS LOGISTICS COMMAND (WANNI) AND UNDER COMMAND BATTALIONS

The Commander of Security Force (Wanni), Major General J P C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, visited the Headquarters Logistics Command (wanni) and its under-command battalions on 23 July 2024. The Commander of Security Force (Wanni) was warmly welcomed by the Major General TA Peiris ptsc Commander – Logistics Command (Wanni) along with the Commanding Officers. During his visit, he was briefed on the responsibilities, roles, and tasks of the Log Command and respective battalions.

Then, visiting Commander of Security Force (Wanni) addressed the troops and highly appreciated the work doing by the Log Command, all logistics CO’s and troops of Log Comd (Wanni) with having many difficulties. Thereafter, he planted a Mango sapling in front of the office complex and appeared for a group photograph. At the end of the programme, the Commander Security Force (Wanni) penned down a complimentary note in the visitors’ book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
