CONDUCTED A DRUGS PREVENTION PROGRAMME 10 SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY AOR FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

Under the guidance of Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Infantry Division, supervision of the Col MGA Malandeniya RSP Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Maj AMLK Gunathilika RSP USP psc - Second In Command 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and coordination with the National Drug Prevention Unit (Vishwamadu) organized a drug prevention programme for students of Palinagar Maha vidyalaya at 1200 to 1300 hrs on 05 April 2024 at Palinagar Maha Vidyalaya.

The informative lecture was delivered by the lecture focus on adverse effects, verities of dangerous drugs, what are the factors for drug addiction among the school children, illicit substances and impact of such uses and repercussions. Over 400 students, teachers, CAO 561 Inf Bde, Second in Command of 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Bn and ORs were participated for the event.
