A special blessing ceremony of Hindu tradition, held on Monday 11th March at Kandasamy Kovil, Vavuniya, extended its blessings to the forthcoming 26th Anniversary of Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni).
The ‘Ashirwada’ Pooja ceremony, symbolically blessed the Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) flag at first after taking it into the inner chamber of the Kovil amidst religious rites and rituals.
Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Wanni) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Administration & Quartering, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks joined the prayer sessions at Kandasamy Kovil, Vavuniya.
