7th Sri Lanka Armored Corps Troops Complete Battalion Training Course

The Battalion Training Course No- 30 of the 7th Sri Lanka Armored Corps (7 (V) SLAC) got underway with 11 Officers and 317 Other Ranks at the Battalion Training School in Galkulama from 17 January 2024 to 05 March 2024.

The curriculum in the course included lectures and practical sessions on map reading, counter-insurgency operations, internal security, fighting in built-up areas, Lives saving, introduction of Artillery Guns, introduction of Signal Equipment, Role & task of Sri Lanka Air Force and live-firing.

Further, a presentation on 'Wadamarachchi Operation' was conducted by a team of 7 (V) SLAC at the end of the course.

Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division, delivered closing remarks and gave away incentives.

Commanders of 211, 212 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participate for the closing address. During the awarding ceremony, the following Officers and Other Ranks were awarded trophies:
