HAND OVER THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE FOR NEEDY FAMILY

As request made by the Divisional Secretary Medawachchiya Mrs M C Malawiarachchi the Troops of the 2nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the 213 Infantry Brigade deployed under 21 Infantry Division and the Security Force Headquarters - WANNI built a new house for a needy family at No 54 Hirallugama, Padikgama, Medawachchiya with the sponsorship provided by Mr Rathna Hapangama who is presently based in United States of America and handed over to the key on 17 February 2024 at an auspicious time.

Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu Commander - Security Forces (Wanni) graced the occasion as the chief guest and the Divisional Secretary Medawachchiya Mrs M C Malawiarachchi, Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc General Officer Commanding - 21 Infantry Division, Colonel H A A N C Prabhath RSP USP Commander - 213 Infantry Brigade, Major K A I N Kodikara Commanding Officer - 2 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civilians from the village participated for the event.
