“SECOND COCONUT TRIANGLE IN THE NORTH” CONDUCTS BY 561 INFANTRY DIVISION

Under the conceptualization of HE, the President, and the direction of the Commander Security Forces (wanni), Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, planting of coconut saplings was held on December 28, 2023 under the theme of “Second Coconut Triangle in the North,”. The program was guided by General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General H G P M Kariyawasam RSP ndc psc IG, with the supervision of Colonel M G A Malandeniya RSP Commander 561 Infantry Brigade.

Under this event, 561 Infantry Brigade conducted the planting of 175 coconut saplings on the camp premises. Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Civil Affairs Officer, GIII (Ops), ALO, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
