DY GOC OF 56 INFANTRY DIVISION TAKES OVER DUTIES

Brigadier WSV Fernando USP IG assumed duties as 01st Deputy General Officer Commanding (Dy GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division on 23 December 2023 during a simple ceremony at the Divisional Headquarters in Kokeliya, Vavuniya.

The newly-appointed Dy GOC assumed office and left his signature for an official document in order to signify the acceptance of the new office.

561, 562, 563 Brigade Commanders, all COs, Staff Officers and Other Ranks participated to the event.
