HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE WAS GIVEN BY 561 INFANTRY BRIGADE TROOPS DUE TO FLOOD SITUATION

Due to the heavy rainfall these days, Water has collected in the drainage systems and other places of the Nedurkarni Regional Hospital located in Nedunkarni South Gramasewa Division. The people coming up to the hospital is facing difficulties and it was necessary to organize a Shramadana programme to clean the Hospital. On 18 December 2023 as per the direction of Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General H G P M Kariyawasam RSP ndc psc IG and under supervision of Colonel M G A Malandeniya RSP Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, and Major W H Wickramasinghe RSP USP psc Lsc the Commanding Officer of the 16th Battalion Sri Lanka Singha Regiment 02x18 Troops and Villagers, Organized a Shramadhana programme and clean the Nedurkarni Regional Hospital.
