As per the concept of Commander, Security Forces (Wanni), to launch the “Northern Coconut Triangle”in boosting the production, 213 Infantry Brigade troops of 21 Infantry Division distributed 1000 more coconut saplings on 29 November 2023and04 December 2023 in Vavuniya district.
Families living in Vavuniya area received these saplings free of charge thanks to the initiatives of the Commander, Security Forces (Wanni) and the Coconut Cultivation Board which supplied saplings. Troops of 2 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 2 (Volunteer) Mechanized Infantry Regiment are coordinated this event.
