The Commander Security Forces (Wanni) – SFHQ (W) Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu paid an official visit to the 3rd Sri Lanka Armored Corps (3 SLAC) on 29 November 2023. The Commander, Security Forces on his arrival at the 3 SLAC premises was welcomed by the commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel N V A M Vithanage RSP pscand Commander Security Forces participated for the group photograph with all Officer and Other Ranks in the unit followed by Mango sapling was planted the premises of headquarters office complex.
A comprehensive briefing was done in overview of the 3 Armored Regiment. Then Security Force Commander visited to the Worrent Officers and Sergeant Mess to observe under construction building and visited to Armor Tank yards and vitnes the colorful Armor Tank display.
Then he visited to Other Ranks living accommodation and after that he was remarked the visit by signing a visitors book.
Finally the Commanding Officer in 3 Armored Regiment given a momento to mark the visit of 3 Armored Regiment.
