“Wanni Bakers” was opened by Commander, Security Force (Wanni) Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu on 14 October 2023 at the entrance to the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) premises.
“Wanni Bakers” is a new establishment of “Wanni Food City” which provides all types of bakery items for reasonable price to the members of tri-forces, police and the public living in Vavuniya, including the school children. The bakery consist with the bakery items of Bread, Cake, Pastry, Short Eats, Tea/ Coffee, Fresh Juice etc., which can be brought for a cheapest price.
The Wanni Garrison Engineer and his troops involved in constructing of this bakery and the Brigadier Project, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Colonel General Staff, Colonel Admin and Quartering and other officers, Regimental Sergeant Major, Senior Non Commission Officers and Non Commission Officers of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) participated for the opening ceremony of the “Wanni Bakers”.
