DONATION OF SCHOOL ACCESSORIES FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN AND ESSENTIAL GOODS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

Under the guidance and supervision of Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the troops of Security Force Headquarters (wanni) organized a programme for the donating of school accessories to 500 needy children and essential goods for pregnant women residing in Anuradhapura and Vavuniya districts on 21 September 2023 at the Cultural Hall, Vavuniya. The total value of the donated item were Rs 2,700,000.00.

This donation was sponsored by "Best Wishes Foundation—Malaysia", which is a charity organization led by Ven Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero, the Advisor and Coordinator to the Malaysian delegation by representatives of the "Best Wishes Foundation-Malaysia". The donation was aimed at enhancing the educational standards of children and the well-being of needy families in Anuradhapura and Vavuniya districts.
