62 Infantry Division of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) constructed 04 new Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification plant as a solution for a long-lasting problem of drinking water following areas.
a. BuddhangalaVeherawewa.
b. Aliwangua Sri Bodhirukkarama Temple.
c. MahasenpuraDaluggalaVidyalaya.
d. Sinhapurayaya 13 Vidyalaya.
This was made possible with the generous sponsorship granted by Glorious Sun Charity Foundation – Hong Kong at the request of Major General JanakaRanasinghe, General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division. RO plants were ceremonially inaugurated on 16 July 2023 with the participation of General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division Major General JanakaRanasinghe, Professor Rev MedavachchiyeDhammaJothiThero of University of Kelaniya, Assistant Government Agents of Padaviya and Pardavi Sri Pura and officers, Other Ranks and native villagers.
