The certificate awarding ceremony for attendees in the Tamil Language Course No -06, was held on 2nd June 2023 at the Headquarters, 1st Battalion of Military Intelligence Corps. The Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Brigadier S P G Gamage RWP RSP USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the awarding ceremony where a brief speech was delivered after awarding the certificates to those who have successfully completed the course.
The Tamil Language Course No - 06 was conducted with 34 participants of Other Ranks at the 1st Battalion of Military Intelligence Corps with the guidance of Commander, Security Force (Wanni) Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP to improve Tamil Language skills of under command troops in battalions within Wanni AOR.
The course was coordinated by Lt AGN Sandaruwan 1 MIC under the close supervision of Commanding Officer 1 MIC Lt Col SAJK Subasinghe psc Isc MI, Sgt Sanjeewa JJM and Cpl Rathnayake RME were the Instructors of the Course.
