PROVIDING DETAILS ABOUT ENSURE THE SECURITY AND SUPPORTING TO SRI LANKA YOUTH EXPLORATION CAMP AT KEBITHIGOLLEWA

Sri Lanka Youth Exploration Society was organized an annual exploration camp was held on 07, 08 and 09 April 2023 by representing of six schools across the island wide and with the participation of 147 students and 60 organizing committee members at Kebithigollewa Central Collage. Students of Vidyartha Collage - Kandy, Mahamaya Girls Collage - Kandy, Hillwood Girls Collage - Kandy, Vishakha Girls Collage - Colombo, Pinnawala Central Collage - Kegalle and Ankumbura Veluwana Central Collage - Kandy participated for the event.

Above mentioned schools were participated for the event and the respective area for the camping for students were prepared in a suitable way for the exploration of Kochchiyagala forest area and ensure the security of the area consisting of 01 x 16 troops representing the 5 (V) Battalion Gajaba Regiment during the event.

All necessary actions and fullest guidance done by the Commanding Officer of 5 (V) Battalion Gajaba Regiment to success the event. As well as this exploration camp was successfully conducted under the fullest supervision of the Commander, 623 Infantry Brigade, Colonel B D R Budagoda USP and guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 62 Infantry Division, Major General R A J N Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc.
