Under the direction of General Officer Commanding 65 Infantry Division Major General E A D P Edirisingha psc and under the supervision of Commander 651 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier K M W Bandara RSP and troops of the 17th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry organized among developing harmony among the army and civilians. This ceremony held on 18 January 2023 in simultaneously of Thai Pongal Day.
Commander 651 Infantry Brigade grace the event as the Chief Guest and the Brigade Staff, Commanding Officer and troops of 17th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry, principal, teachers and students of Therankandal Tamil Maha Vidyalaya participated for the event. And also students received the prizes.
